Econopolis debate on the crisis
I am really excited about the first Econopolis debate. This event is organised to launch the book of Johan Van Overtveldt 'There Will Be No Economy on Monday'. The title comes from a famous quote by Ben Bernanke. It was the Fed's chairman answer to congressional leaders, warning them of what would happen if they failed to take radical steps to support the financial sector.
Joining Johan in the debate is Peter Praet, the most famous Belgian economist of all times, andcandidate for a high function at the European Central Bank.
I am very pleased to have André Sapir in the panel. He is a Senior Fellow at Bruegel, a Professor of Economics at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and a former economic adviser to the president of the European Commission. In 2004, he published 'An Agenda for a Growing Europe', a report to the president of the Commission by a group of independent experts that is known as the Sapir report. André holds a PhD in Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, 1977. At ULB, he holds a chair in international economics and European integration. He is also a Research Fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). In addition, he is a member of European Commission President Jose Manuel Barrosos Economic Policy Analysis Group.
The debate will be moderated by Francesca Vanthielen. She holds an Economics Degree from Leuven, and a Master in Acting from London's Mountview Theatre School.
The debate and the event will take place at the Belgacom Surfhouse (Evere). All details can be found here.

In the info on the debate it says that the book is included in the price.
I would like to know if we receive the book in advance or on the spot.
Sorry for the dump question, but it would be nice to read it beforehand.
Thank you. -
Geert

@ Geert,
OK I'll be willing to overlook this mishap in the smart logistics project if Mr. Van Overtveldt feels able to spare some wet ink for an autograph on my copy :)
Looking forward to it next week!
